ICOP Digital, Inc., (NASDAQ: ICOP), an industry-leading company
engaged in advancing digital surveillance technology solutions,
today announced that it is one of three vendors awarded the state
contract for in-car video, for the State of Montana.
Montana is home to 116 sheriff and police agencies. ICOP already
has a very strong position in the State of Montana, and this
contract will facilitate expanding its position. Twenty-two percent
(22%) of the law enforcement departments in Montana are already
outfitted with ICOP equipment, including some of its largest
cities, such as Great Falls, Billings and Butte-Silver Bow. This
award will allow Montana law enforcement departments to purchase
ICOP directly, saving the time and expense of the bid process.
"ICOP has enjoyed excellent success in Montana. We recently
received an order to upgrade the entire fleet of Billings Police
Department, from the ICOP Model 20/20®-W to the ICOP Model 20/20
VISION," said Bob Bradley, Director of National Sales at ICOP.
