Settlement of Litigation with Leading Brands, Inc. NEW YORK, July 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Futuristic Brands USA, Inc., New Sun Beverages Company (USA) Inc., Zemper International, SA, and Thomas C. Lines (collectively "the Licensors") announce that all litigation and disputes among them and their affiliated companies, and Leading Brands, Inc. (NASDAQ:LBIX) and its subsidiaries ("Leading Brands") and its Chairman & CEO Ralph D. McRae have been settled. No payment was made to Leading Brands, Inc. or its subsidiaries or management by or on behalf of any of the Licensors and no payment was made by the Leading Brands or Mr. McRae to any of the Licensors. The Licensors withdraw and retract any statements previously made by them in respect of Leading Brands, Inc. or Ralph D. McRae. In particular, they withdraw and retract the allegations made in their news releases of February 18, 2004 and April 8, 2004.
