- Unveils Major New Version of Mercury Quality Center LAS VEGAS,
Oct. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Today at Mercury World 2005,
Mercury Interactive Corporation (NASDAQ:MERQE), the global leader

Mercury Quality Center(TM) 8.2, a strategic part of Mercury BTO
Enterprise(TM). The major new version of Mercury's application
delivery optimization center allows customers to automate software
quality management across a wide range of application environments,
provide visibility of quality projects, and align the priorities of
quality assurance professionals with the requirements of the

out-of-the box quality key performance indicators (KPIs), enables
customers to create custom KPIs, and provides integrations with
standards-based corporate portals; * Updated business process
testing capabilities for automated user acceptance testing and
support for Mercury QuickTestProfessional and Mercury WinRunner;
and * New integrations with Mercury IT Governance Center(TM) to
help ensure that the testing of changes starts in conjunction with

status and visibility of testing initiatives through dashboard
