Utah-based company donates over $35,000 from Velocity hearing instrument sales. SALT LAKE CITY, Nov. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sonic Innovations, Inc. (NASDAQ:SNCI) announced the company donated $35,492 to the Armed Forces Foundation (AFF) during a check presentation today with Sonic Innovations' President and COO Paul Wennerholm and AFF President and Executive Director Patricia Driscoll in Washington, D.C. The donation is the result of a program conducted by Sonic Innovations in cooperation with the AFF that began in July, in which the company pledged a donation of up to $50 to the foundation for every Velocity hearing instrument purchased through October 1, 2008.
