Spartan ERV (Emergency Response Vehicles), a business unit of Spartan Motors, Inc. (Nasdaq:SPAR) announced today the addition of Vimar Equipment, Ltd (Vimar), a new dealer in Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Alberta and British Columbia, Canada. This announcement is another manifestation of Spartan ERV's strategy to up-grade distribution in both the U.S. and South America. The Company added four new dealers last year. H&W will no longer represent Spartan ERV or Spartan Chassis in the Northwest United States.

Located in Burnaby, British Columbia, Vimar is a 37-year equipment company with a proven history of providing quality products and service to the municipal, industrial and contractor markets in Western Canada, the Yukon and Northwest Territories. There the company operates out of a 23,000 sq. ft. facility where it provides service and fulfills parts distribution. In the U.S., Vimar will maintain operations in Portland, Ore. and Marysville, Wash.
