Spartan ERV Names 2012 Salesman of the Year

Spartan ERV (Emergency Response Vehicles), a business unit of
Spartan Motors, Inc. (Nasdaq:SPAR), announced during its annual
awards banquet that Pino Natale of Dependable Emergency Vehicles in
Ontario, Canada has been named its 2012 Salesman of the Year
recipient. Natale was responsible for 42 units sold in the 2012
calendar year.

His experience as a firefighter and knowledge of fire department
