Ron Bension Appointed CEO of TicketsNow

TicketsNow, a leading online event ticket marketplace and
Ticketmaster (NASDAQ:TKTM) company, today announced the appointment
of Ron Bension as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. In the
newly created position, Bension will work closely with the
TicketsNow and Ticketmaster executive teams to develop and produce
new offerings for consumers and foster strategic business growth.
During his more than 30-year career, Bension has led several major
e-commerce, recreation, and entertainment companies to financial
and strategic success, bringing a wealth of leadership experience
to TicketsNow.

Phoenix, AZ. Previously, Bension held principal roles as CEO of
Tickets.com, where he restructured the fledgling online ticketing
technology and service, including shepherding the company's
relationships with Major League Baseball and the 2002 Winter
Olympics in Salt Lake City and sale to MLB in 2005.; President and
CEO of GameWorks, LLC, a multi-unit restaurant and entertainment
company; Chairman and CEO of MCA/Universal Studios Recreation
Group; CEO of Sportnet, a Wasserman Media Group company and the
leading online sports network; As CEO of GameWorks, Bension was
honored for his achievements with the prestigious Ernst & Young
Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2001.
