Veraz Networks, Inc., (NASDAQ: VRAZ), the leading provider of Multimedia Generation Network application, control, and bandwidth optimization products, today announced that Koc.net, a leading provider of telecommunication solutions in Turkey, has deployed Veraz’s ControlSwitchTM platform to replace its existing softswitch. With Veraz’s softswitch solution, Koc.net can now benefit from centralized control, multi-platform interoperability as well as protect against local disasters through redundant geographic support.

Veraz’s ControlSwitch open interfaces enable Koc.net to continue to operate its installed base of media gateways. By offering leading-edge network design flexibility with geographic distribution of elements, the ControlSwitch allows Koc.net to protect against localized failures, assuring high service levels are maintained at all times. Furthermore, Veraz’s softswitch platform centralizes the management of all network elements thereby reducing operating expenses.
