WebEx Connect Unlocks Software Suite and Enables New Generation of

joined the WebEx Connect Developer Network to make the Act/On
Messaging Service available via WebEx Connect. WebEx Connect, the
first collaborative on-demand platform, will enable developers and
customers to integrate multiple applications to create powerful
collaborative business "mashup" solutions from best-of-breed
web-based, on- premises and desktop applications. The integration
of the Act/On Messaging Service into WebEx Connect enables rich
communication workflows that facilitate and automate the setting up
of real-time WebEx meetings and any subsequent follow up. In
addition, the "presence" information in WebEx Connect gets extended
with events such as messages being opened, attachments being
accessed, recipients accepting invitations. The Act/On Messaging

their existing email infrastructure. Typical business- and
sales-oriented tasks such as following up on prospects and staying
in touch through the sales process, scheduling and organizing a
conference call, inviting customers to a webcast and confirming

collaboration. It is integrated with Salesforce.com for customer
