WORLDSPACE Satellite Radio (NASDAQ:WRSP), one of the leaders in
satellite-based digital radio services, announced today that it is
hosting the third annual WORLDSPACE Sessions@Abbey Road on Feb.
18-21, 2008, from Abbey Road�s infamous Studio 2, the legendary
recording studio of The Beatles. WORLDSPACE will also broadcast the
BRIT AWARDS 2008 on Feb. 20, featuring exclusive backstage and red
carpet interviews and performances by Leona Lewis, Rihanna, Paul
McCartney, Kaiser Chiefs, Kylie Minogue, Mark Ronson, and Mika.
WORLDSPACE will carry the BRIT AWARDS 2008 live on its premier
global pop channel, UPop 29, beginning at 1900 GMT. A full
rebroadcast will take place the following day, Feb. 21, at 1200
GMT. The WORLDSPACE Sessions@Abbey Road will feature four days of
exclusive performances and live recording sessions by 30 of the
hottest global pop artists including: Japan�s Pistol Valve, the
U.K.�s Pama International, Mattafix, dan le sac Vs. Scroobius Pip,
The Hours, America�s The Wrens, along with legendary performers
