GAP Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (The) Common Stock

Knight Capital Group Inc. (KCG) Chief Executive Thomas Joyce is pushing for a bid worth $4 a share, Fox Business Network's Charlie Gasparino reported Wednesday.

Mr. Gasparino reported that former New York Stock Exchange Chief Executive Richard Grasso is advising Virtu Financial LLC in its bid for Knight.

The parent company of Getco LLC has proposed a cash-and-stock deal worth $3.50 a share, while Virtu's cash offer is worth about $3 a share. Knight recently traded at $3.39, up 42 cents.
