Stanford University Medical Center Awards Sodexho Multi-Million Dollar Contract in Engineering

Five-year contract, largest of its kind for Sodexho in the U.S.,
includes plant operations and maintenance for 4.5 million square
feet of space in three facilities GAITHERSBURG, Md., March 15

today that its Health Care Services Division was awarded a five-
year, multi-million dollar engineering contract for Stanford
Hospital & Clinics, Stanford University School of Medicine and
the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto, Calif. Under
the new contract, Sodexho will manage the plant operations and
maintenance as well as explore other facility infrastructure
renewal projects for the three facilities totaling over 4.5 million
square feet in size -- the largest physical space managed by
Sodexho in the U.S. For over 25 years, Sodexho has been providing
various services to the Stanford organization including food
service, housekeeping, patient transportation and groundskeeping;
the company begins the new engineering service contract this month.
