commercial enterprises, has acquired Ultra High Speed (UHS) from
Australian company Hills Limited to broaden its global portfolio of
intrusion product offerings and services. Interlogix will preview
some of the newly acquired technology at ISC West booth #18019 in
Las Vegas, April 2-4. Interlogix is a part of UTC Building
& Industrial Systems, a unit of United Technologies Corp.
(NYSE: UTX).
UHS is a technology provider of telecommunications
infrastructure equipment, Web application servers, modems and
customized network management systems. This transaction will
broaden and strengthen Interlogix's portfolio of residential and
commercial intrusion panels, mobile applications and communication
solutions. UHS also brings the expertise of engineers and designers
with a wealth of experience in the security and communications
industry.

In the ISC West booth, Interlogix will preview multiple products
to demonstrate the capabilities acquired from UHS. Among these are
a self-contained panel that includes native Wi-Fi and
Z-Wave® to interface with popular lifestyle management
devices such as lights, locks and thermostats; new accessories for
the NX platform will also be showcased, including a touch-screen
module that adds a graphical interface to the control panels; and a
modular, hybrid panel that allows features to be added through a
unique, DIN-rail mounting system, providing the utmost installation
flexibility for system components in both residential and
small-to-medium enterprise applications.
Interactive services will utilize native Internet Protocol and
embedded Web servers to provide remote programming and mobile
applications across product platforms.
