& Whitney, a division of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX),
and CALC (China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited; HKEx:
1848) today announced the signing of a contract for Pratt &
Whitney engines to power 18 firm A320neo family aircraft.

Since entering into service in early 2016, the GTF engine for
the A320neo family aircraft has demonstrated its promised ability
to reduce fuel burn by 16 percent, to reduce NOx emissions by 50
percent to the regulatory standard and to lower the noise footprint
by 75 percent.
