Further to the announcement made on 12 December 2003 that Mr. Alan J.
Harden had been appointed a director, the following information is given
pursuant to the requirements of paragraph 16.4 of the Listing Rules.

Mr. Harden has not previously held a directorship of a publicly quoted
company.

There is no information to be disclosed pursuant to the requirements of
paragraph 6.F.2 (b) to (g) of the Listing Rules.

On appointment at 1 January 2004 Mr. Harden was the beneficial owner of
86 ordinary stock units.
