Consolidated Westview Resource Corp.: Change in Board of Directors

Consolidated Westview Resource Corporation (the "Company") (NEX:CWS.H) announces
that effective May 14, 2008 Gary Voncina has resigned as a director of the
Company and Ian Brown of Calgary, Alberta has been appointed to fill the vacancy
on the Board. Mr. Brown has been an independent businessman since January 1,
2006 and sits on a number of private and public boards. From 1995 to 2005 Mr.
Brown was a Senior Managing Director with Raymond James Ltd. and prior thereto
he was the Executive Vice President of the Alberta Stock Exchange. Mr. Brown is
a Chartered Accountant (Alberta 1983) and holds a B.A. (Economics) and a B.
Comm.
