Big Red Diamond Corp ("Big Red") ( TSX VENTURE: DIA) would like to notify its shareholders that it has been advised by its joint venture partner on the J6L1 Rare Earth Metals project that the sampling project and field work is well under way. Dahrouge Geological Consulting Ltd. ("Dahrouge Consulting") which has been retained for the sampling and the compilation of key data is presently on the Sept-Iles property collecting key samples and data.

Dahrouge Consulting was chosen based on their extensive experience with Rare Earth Elements (REEs), and their recent work with Commerce Resources Corp.'s Quebec-based Eldor Rare Earth project where they recently announced results confirming the potential for a significant new REE discovery.

We are awaiting future sampling results and field program news shortly from this promising property. We will keep you informed as soon as additional results are available.
