EnQuest Energy Services Corp. (TSX VENTURE:ENQ) ("EnQuest" or the "Corporation")
is pleased to announce that Mr. Ian F.T. Kennedy has been appointed as a
director of the Corporation. Mr. Kennedy brings a wealth of knowledge to
EnQuest, with over 30 years of experience with venture capital and investment
banking activities. Mr. Kennedy has a working familiarity with the business of
EnQuest through his professional experiences including as a mining engineer,
with background in drilling in mining operations and in oil and gas, and his
ownership of truck body and trailer manufacturing and truck parts businesses. He
is currently a partner at Capital Canada Limited, a boutique investment banking
firm with a focus in the private capital markets, providing financial advice to
corporations and entrepreneurs in Canada and abroad. Mr. Kennedy has held
operational, executive and directorships in more than 15 public and private
companies.


The Corporation also announces that it has accepted the resignation of Rodger
Hawkins as director effective immediately. EnQuest wishes to express its thanks
to Mr. Hawkins for his service to the Corporation and wishes him success in his
future endeavours.
