Karel Capital Corporation (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:KRL.P), a capital pool
company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Jason Harder to the Board
of Directors effective immediately.


Mr. Harder has been focused in healthcare ranging from direct patient care as a
Respiratory Therapist to managing a Cardiopulmonary Services Department, which
ultimately lead to his current work as a process improvement and efficiency
specialist consulting to the healthcare industry in the U.S. Australia, New
Zealand, B.C. and Saskatchewan. Mr. Harder has been the recipient of two awards
from Press Ganey (an international customer service firm) for his process
re-design and efficiency improvement work. Mr. Harder's career accomplishments
include new business development, patient service line and process flow
re-design, physical plant re-design, leadership development, culture
transformation, physician practice re-design and customer service model
implementation. Mr. Harder completed his Respiratory Therapy Training at North
Central Michigan College and has completed the SMU Cox School of Business
Program.


In conjunction with his appointment as a director of the Company, the Company
has granted 250,000 stock options to Mr. Harder. The stock options are
exercisable for a period of five years at a price of $0.10 per share.
