Petra Petroleum Inc. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:PTL) announces that Larry
Keller has resigned as President of the Company and Eric Boehnke has been
appointed the President of the Company.


Mr. Keller will remain a director of the Company. Mr. Boehnke is currently a
director of the Company.
