Strategic Metals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:SMD) ("Strategic") provides the following
information regarding access to materials to be sent to shareholders in
connection with a Special General Meeting to be held on Friday, July 15, 2011 in
respect of its proposed Plan of Arrangement with Silver Range Resources Ltd.,
and in respect of its Annual and Special General Meeting to be held on
Wednesday, July 22, 2011:


(a) all shareholders, whether registered or beneficial holders, may obtain a
copy of the materials which will be sent to shareholders following the
resumption of postal services in Canada through Strategic's profile at
www.sedar.com; and


(b) registered shareholders and non-objecting beneficial owners may obtain their
personal voting information as well as the means through which their shares can
be voted by calling Computershare Investor Services Inc.'s shareholder investor
