PARIS, February 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- As part of its strategy to refocus on its two core businesses, Services and Hotels, Accor today announces the sale of its remaining 50% stake in the Brazilian Food Services Business to Compass Group. In 1998, Compass had already acquired 50% of this activity from Accor. This transaction is based on a total consideration of 305 million Brazilian Reals (nearly 117 million euros). The Brazilian Food Services business contributed 248 million euros to Accor's full year 2007 consolidated revenue. This transaction should be completed by the end of the first semester 2008.
