Aerius International (PINKSHEETS: AERS), a high-tech company in the U.S., announced it has developed, tested and proven a new antenna design inside cell phones that can save the cellular industry over 1.2 million tons of cell site carbon dioxide emissions per year in the U.S.

"This first-of-its-kind antenna allows cell sites to work better using 50% less power that can lower emissions of carbon dioxide 5 tons per year per cell site," said Greg Johnson, Aerius CTO.

"With an industry estimated 242 thousand cell sites in the US, Aerius could deliver savings of over one million tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually in the US in the years ahead, a major breakthrough for the environment," added Johnson.
