Global Ecology Corporation (GEC), (OTCQB: GLEC), announced today
that it has completed the first and lengthiest phase for EPA
approval of its licensed, proprietary formula, IMS1000™. Upon final
approval by the EPA, GEC will be granted an exclusive license to
distribute the product in the United States by the manufacturer,
EnvirEau of Canada.
EnvirEau's formulas are a natural, environmentally safe blend of
ionized minerals, designed for bacteriostatic algaecide control
applications and to be used in connection with the company's
multiple water purification projects.
The EPA approval process, which requires meetings with EPA
representatives and submission of back up efficacy data, will
determine the various uses to be approved. The EPA registration for
IMS1000™ is intended to cover the following applications:
- Potable water reservoirs and tanks
- Cooling towers and HVAC systems
- Irrigation reservoirs, ponds & lakes
- Irrigation conveyance systems
- Sprinkler, drip, Injection or other types of irrigation
equipment
- Chemigation systems
- Impounded waters, lakes, ponds and reservoirs
- Aquaculture Ponds
- Biological Fish Ponds
- Water features and fountains etc.
- Foliar spray for agriculture/horticulture applications
(greenhouses, plantations, etc)
- Shelf-life extension for post-harvested fruit, vegetables and
poultry/fish.
GEC has already made arrangements for field testing IMS1000 in
cooling towers. Laboratory tests to date have shown very favorable
results for this application. Once the field tests confirm the lab
results, the company will be ready to begin discussions with
distributors and end users.
Global Ecology President & CEO Peter Ubaldi said, "Although
it is difficult to predict the date the EPA will complete its
review and approval process, we have determined that the potential
list of approved uses will more than justify the time required for
their approval. The additional industries that could potentially be
markets for IMS1000 ultimately increase our marketing potential
well past our original plan."
This release contains certain forward-looking statements (under
Section 27A of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and Section
21E of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended) with

process, whether the Company can obtain EPA approval for IMS1000 in
all of the registered uses or any of the registered uses, and

EPA approved. Because such statements include risks, uncertainties
