Get Real USA (GTRL) Achieves Key Milestones Towards Building a
Vertically Integrated Movie Production, Distribution and Finance
Company
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif.,
Nov. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Get
Real USA, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GTRL)
announced significant inroads towards achieving their ultimate goal
of becoming a vertically integrated movie producer, distributor and
financer.
Frank Weber, President and CEO of
Get Real USA said, "Our goal is to
fill the market void in getting high quality low-budget films
financed, produced and distributed. We believe this direction will
be extremely profitable for GTRL, given the seemingly insatiable
appetite for new video content worldwide."
Recent milestones include recruiting the following distinguished
members of the advisory board:
- Dean Wright, an award winning
special effects supervisor; has work on such blockbusters as
Titanic and Lord Of The Rings. Mr. Wright recently made his
directorial debut with "For Greater Glory: The True Story of
Cristiada", starring Andy Garcia and
Eva Longoria; the largest ever
Mexican produced feature film. GTRL plans to utilize Mr. Wright's
extensive knowledge as the company moves into a higher echelon of
film making.
- Gregory Walker, who manages a
film tax credit fund and has produced, executive produced and
provided tax credit finance solutions for over 55 movies. Some of
his extensive credits include; Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning
starring Jean-Claude Van Damme,
Flypaper starring Patrick Dempsey
and Ashley Judd, El Gringo starring
Christian Slater and Arena starring
Samuel L. Jackson.
The Company has also inked strategic distribution deals
recently, like: "The Message, an award-winning thriller co-written,
produced and directed by Thomas
Clay.
This movie stars Erica Leerhsen,
who was in films such as Texas Chainsaw Massacre, as a young wife
and mother who is challenged to overcome her passive beliefs on
religion after a serious car accident.
"This business relies heavily on people, expertise and perhaps
most importantly, relationships," continued Mr. Weber. "We feel
with the team we've developed, and will continue to build, we've
got everything we'll need to realize our goals."
