LOS ANGELES, June 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Northstar Global
Business Services (OTC: MDIN) announced it has purchased
websites NationalCyberSecurity.com and AmIHackerProof.com
from LIGATT Security International (OTC: LGTT) for $1 million in stock and/or cash.
Northstar's primary goal was to
become the leader in the still emerging business brokerage
industry, but with the collapse of the housing market, business
brokerage just didn't cut it, so Northstar went back to the drawing board, and
scaled back operations while seeking to go in a direction that had
enough growth potential but was not saturated and would be
profitable for years to come. The $100
Billion worldwide cyber security business is that
industry.
"We hear about hackers crashing websites and stealing credit
card information on a daily basis, and are mostly defenseless
against it," says Raymond Barton,
CEO of Northstar. "Having been a hardcore programmer and
leader in emerging technologies for almost 20 years, I knew
immediately that if I was going to go in this direction, I needed
to partner with one of the best. Fortunately, in seeking out that
partnership, I met Gregory Evans,
and LIGATT."
LIGATT Security is the operator of NationalCyberSecurity.com and
AmIHackerProof.com. LIGATT purchased NationalCyberSecurity.com in
2009 because of its strong name and Google ranking. Since
then, NationalCyberSecurity.com has become a strong, dominate
news provider to consumers, security professionals from around the
world and also media. "I found during my research that there is no
other security professional that could get Northstar the exposure we need more than
Gregory Evans (GregoryDEvans.com),"
says Barton. "Evans had more than 8 million people last year hear
or see him on radio and television. This year we found Evans had
more than 20 million people hear him speak in the media and it is
only half way through the year. At press time this morning,
Evans was a guest of Fox News Radio on over 10 radio stations
throughout the country. Where else can you find a professional in
the cyber security industry that has done CNN, Fox News TV, Fox
News Radio, Entertainment Tonight, AP, BBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, and the
History Channel, just to name a few! Even with the
controversy in the last 8 months surrounding Evans, he was able to
still make major deals happen like the distribution deal with
D&H distributors who distributes AmIHackerProof.com to
retailers. Evans can get Northstar
the exposure it needs," says Barton.
