Update: Kerio Appoints Industry Veteran Pavel Suk as Vice President of Engineering

Kerio Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of Internet security
and messaging solutions, today announced that Pavel Suk has joined
the company's executive management team as vice president of
Engineering. Bringing more than twenty years of engineering
expertise, Suk is responsible for driving the product strategy and
leading the engineering efforts of Kerio's security and messaging
product lines. In this role he will manage a fast-growing team of
more than 70 engineers based in the company's Pilsen office in the
Czech Republic.

Prior to joining Kerio, Suk spent the last nine years at Sun
Microsystems helping design and develop NetBeans and Forte Tools
solutions. Since 2005, he was the director of the Prague
Engineering Center at Sun Microsystems Czech Republic. He led
multiple development teams in major engineering locations (US,
Czech Republic, Russia) and managed the growth of the team from 150
to 300 engineers. Suk was awarded special recognition for his
superior leadership skills and driving global location strategy for
engineering at Sun.
Before joining Sun Microsystems, Suk developed software at
COMPU-SHACK. He holds an M.A. in Computer Science from the Czech
Technical University.
