Linda Putback-Bean, pediatric specialist and CEO of Pediatric
Prosthetics, Inc. (OTCBB:PDPR) put the milestone in perspective,
stating, "As of Thursday, we are now Certified and Accredited by
the 'ABC' and valid in all 50 United States. This achievement will
allow us to negotiate for 'Preferred Provider' status with hundreds
and perhaps even thousands of group-health insurance plans across
the entire United States. "It will also allow us for the first time
to negotiate national contracts with the larger insurance companies
as the only 'ABC' certified pediatric specialist company in the
country." Linda continued, "For the very first time, as we are
fully 'ABC' certified nationally, and in conjunction with our 'Host
Affiliates', we can now work toward 'in-network' status virtually
everywhere." Kenneth Bean, VP Operations, put a fine point on the
milestone, stating, "This has been a two year project to get every
single facet of our pediatric practice audited, approved, and
certified. First of course our unique fitting protocols and patient
care excellence are formally recognized. Also, our billing, record
keeping, and health insurance company interface practices are
commended, due primarily to the efforts of our Director of Business
Administration, Elizabeth Carlstrom. "In conclusion, if you were
one of the thousands of parents across the U.S. with an infant or
child with a limb-loss, and your 'preferred provider' list with
your health insurance policy or information packet listed several
prosthetics providers with various names... we believe most of you
would call or visit our web site as we would be the only
prosthetics provider on that list with 'Pediatric' as its name. We
are gearing up in anticipation." About Pediatric Prosthetics Inc.
Pediatric Prosthetics Inc. is the national provider of specialized
pediatric prosthetics for both upper and lower limbs. The Companys
CEO Linda Putback-Bean pioneered fitting state-of-the-art
myoelectric upper extremity prostheses for the pediatric niche
market. In the absence of a hand or arm, a child's brain still
continues sending signals to grasp or open the hand in the residual
limb. Myoelectric sensors can read those signals through the skin,
(requiring no surgery), and with a computer chip can magnify those
signals many fold to actuate a tiny powerful motor to accomplish
tasks with the life-like hand. In 2003, Ms. Putback-Bean founded
Pediatric Prosthetics to create a comprehensive organization that
connects parents and their children with a limb loss, to expert
pediatric prosthetic fitting, rehabilitation, and life-long care.
As a result, Pediatric Prosthetics hopes to increase the quality of
life for patients and their families nationwide. For more
