Transnational Automotive Group, Inc. Thank you for representing California so well through your outstanding actions.� The certificate signed by Mayor Villaraigosa stated: �As mayor of the City of Los Angeles and on behalf of its residents, it is my pleasure to congratulate you on being honored with the 2007 U.S. State Department Award for Corporate Excellence�This is certainly a special occasion and I am pleased to join with other members of the community in recognizing your accomplishments and achievements�� Established in 1999, the ACE award recognizes the critical role U.S. businesses play globally as good corporate citizens, with nominees submitted by U.S. ambassadors around the world. The two winners were selected from a record 62 nominations and nine finalists, including CalEnergy, Citi, Coca-Cola, General Motors, Merck, Microsoft and Ruralfone.
