Thresher Industries Selects the Nation's Leading Engineering School to Conduct Material Testing

manufacturer of precision recycled aluminum and advanced metal
matrix composite parts, is pleased to announce that it has selected
the nation's leading engineering school, California Polytechnic
State University at San Luis Obispo ("Cal Poly"), to set up a
testing protocol for certain alloy materials as developed by
Thresher. Material testing and product development efforts are
initially focused on creating a low-carbon, highly thermal
conductive heat sink made from 100% reclaimable materials for use
in the LED lighting and electronics industries. Cal Poly San Luis
Obispo College of Engineering was recently named the No. 1 public
engineering program for schools whose highest degree is a
Bachelor's or Master's by U.S. News & World Report. The
University is also among the nation's top five largest accredited
Materials Engineering programs. Cal Poly works closely with
industry through a broad array of intellectual and mutually

grant to purchase the necessary equipment to begin material
