In the past, UDS purchased for each franchise location data, which was imported into our systems that routed the delivery to the closest participating franchise to facilitate the promptest delivery. UDS now has the ability to create all location maps electronically, in-house and in real time. UDS has also been able to replace the paper map at the location level with GPS like �Line by Line� driving directions printed on the driver�s delivery ticket. By moving our mapping program in-house, UDS saves a 3 week lead-time and $80,000.00 per 100 locations, this change complements the locations operations as it reduces the amount of errors at the customer level.
