'Playboy's Desert Oasis and Resort' - Presented by Cuervo Black, Corona Extra, and Jet One Jets - Will Be the Weekend's Most Exclusive Party NEW YORK, Jan. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- For the ninth consecutive year, Playboy will throw the most exclusive party in town during Phoenix's highly-anticipated Super Bowl weekend. "Playboy's Desert Oasis and Resort" will be held at The Pavilion at Wild Horse Pass on Saturday, February 2, 2008. The annual Super Saturday Night event will be hosted by Grammy winning hip-hop artist and actor Common, with a special appearance by Hugh Hefner, along with Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson, stars of the hit E! series "The Girls Next Door." Celebrity Guest DJ Nick Cannon and DJ Reach will spin the tunes throughout the night at what promises to be Arizona's sexiest soiree of the weekend. Celebrities, athletes and VIPs will party with 26 Playboy Playmates at the retro-themed event. "Playboy's Desert Oasis and Resort" will blend vintage and contemporary elements from the 1960s desert, and reflect the era's hip style with a modern edge. Partygoers who enter the sexy sanctuary will be treated to a dance floor surrounded by cabanas, an Oasis Bar, a life-size Femlin model atop a martini glass, a retro coffee shop filled with tasty treats, a gift shop stocked with unique takeaways, and more. Sponsors for Playboy's Super Saturday Night event include Cuervo Black(R), a signature blend of Tequila perfect for mixing with cola or drinking on the rocks; Corona Extra, America's #1 imported beer; Jet One Jets, the leader in providing full-service charter aviation; Playboy Cigars and TicketCity.com. All sponsors will be integrated into the event through creative and unique decor elements, and partygoers will have a chance to enjoy Cuervo Black beverages, and Corona Extra and Corona Light beers. Additionally, Jet One Jets will provide roundtrip private jet service for Hugh Hefner and The Girls Next Door, and Jose Cuervo will continue its commitment to social responsibility by getting guests home safely from the event through its Safe Rides Home program. After the event, all leftover food will be donated to Waste Not, a food recovery organization that rescues excess perishable food and delivers it the same day to a diverse network of agencies that feed the hungry. In 2006, Waste Not delivered almost 1.5 million pounds of nutritious food to more than 80 recipient agencies including day-care centers, homeless shelters, residential homes for the physically and mentally challenged, assisted living facilities for the elderly, youth programs, soup kitchens and emergency food pantries. Last year's Super Saturday Night event in Miami was hosted by Lil Jon and featured a "P.M.: Playboy Miami After Dark" theme. Celebrities and athletes in attendance included Johnny Knoxville, Alyssa Milano, Tony Romo, Jeremy Piven, Kanye West, Danica Patrick and Taye Diggs. DATASOURCE: Playboy Enterprises, Inc.
