0926 GMT [Dow Jones] Malaysian shares end down 0.1% at 1671.63 as investors book profits after four consecutive days of gains. Persistent concerns about Malaysia's general election may weigh on sentiment next week, an analyst at a local bank says. Near-term support is tipped at 1644. Market breadth ends neutral with 334 gainers vs 323 losers with a total volume of 599.8 million shares. Among gainers, IHH Healthcare Bhd (5225.KU) ends up 1.6% at MYR3.74, UEM Land Holdings Bhd (5148.KU) rises 1.5% to MYR2.73 and Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd (2445.KU) edges up 0.9% to MYR20.92. Among losers, RHB Capital Bhd (1066.KU) ends down 2.1% at MYR8.45, Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd (6399.KU) falls 2.1% to MYR2.82 and Petronas Dagangan Bhd (5681.KU) eases 1.5% to MYR23.10.
