Leading Fitness Franchise Proudly Offers Indoor Cycling Training Program with Highest CEU Credit of Any Cycling Program in the United States

CycleBar, the largest indoor cycling brand, announced today the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA), the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and the Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) have all accredited its proprietary Indoor Cycling Training Program and have officially recognized CycleBar as a continuing education provider. As the only boutique indoor cycling brand to receive Continuing Education Units (CEUs) credit, this certification ensures that all fitness coaches trained through CycleBar’s program will hold a certificate in cycling instruction nationally recognized by ISSA, NASM and AFAA, cementing CycleBar as the foremost authority in indoor cycling.

“This milestone reaffirms CycleBar's commitment to excellence and solidifies our position as a global leader in rhythm-based boutique indoor cycling,” said Tevia Celli, Vice President of Training & Experience at CycleBar. “With this recognition, our program will empower fitness coaches with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver exceptional experiences to our riders and set a new standard of quality and professionalism in the fitness industry. Open to all fitness professionals, the program will also expand CycleBar’s reach and introduce the brand and our professional opportunities across our studios to a broader group. We are excited for the positive impact this program will have on CycleBar and the broader fitness community as we continue to inspire and elevate the way people ride.”

Spearheaded by CycleBar’s Manager of Training, Donna Cennamano, CycleBar received its distinction as a continuing education provider by demonstrating the program’s compliance with the three athletics organizations’ various training program requirements to be considered for CEUs credit. No other boutique indoor cycling concept offers participants the opportunity to earn CEUs recognized by each of the three prestigious athletics organizations, a requirement of fitness trainers and coaches who plan to continue coaching and progress in their role. Upon completion of the program, trainees will earn 1.9 CEUs for NASM, 15 CEUs for AFAA, and 20 CEUs for ISSA.

CycleBar’s training program is open to all fitness professionals and priced at $400 and may be completed from anywhere between three to five weeks, depending on previous indoor cycling teaching experience. Trainees can expect to devote a recommended five hours a week to develop consistent technique and an understanding of the material. The comprehensive curriculum covers essential aspects of cycling including bike safety, set-up, technique, and song programming to ensure that fitness coaches trained through CycleBar are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
