MedtechWOMEN today announced the theme of the upcoming MedtechVISION 2024 Annual Conference, the premier event developed by and for women at the forefront of the medtech industry. This year’s conference will take place on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at the Rosewood Sand Hill in Menlo Park, Calif., with an option for virtual attendance via streaming.

The 2024 conference theme, “The Power of We: Together Moving Medtech Forward,” highlights the importance of collaboration in overcoming industry-wide obstacles.

“We're excited to bring together industry leaders at MedtechVISION 2024 to foster collaboration and innovation. By working together, we can drive innovation, expand access to products, and fulfill the promise of health for all patients,” said Lynette Kozuma, Executive Director of MedtechWOMEN. “The medtech industry must adapt to the complexities of modern healthcare to meet the needs of today and tomorrow.”

Keynote speaker Brooke Story, former Worldwide President, Surgery, at BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), will share the life-changing impact the medical device industry has had on her personally and her vision for ensuring life-saving medical device innovations reach as many people as possible. Additionally, Vernessa Pollard, Partner at DLA Piper, will moderate an executive interview with Michelle Tarver, M.D., Ph.D., Deputy Center Director, Chief Transformation Officer, CDRH, for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

MedtechVISION 2024 is co-chaired by two industry leaders: Kate Stephenson, Ph.D., Founder and Principal at Dyad Engineering, and Sheila Shah, Managing Director and Partner at L.E.K. Consulting.

In conjunction with the conference, nominations are currently open for the Ferolyn Powell Leadership Award, with submissions due by June 30.
