The recently enacted federal Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) represents a monumental expansion for pregnant workers beyond what is already provided in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the Pregnancy Discrimination Act (PDA).
