Several reports mention the "Green Fire" burning in Shasta County, Northern California. This fire started on July 1st, 2025, due to lightning and has grown significantly, reaching over 3,700 acres and 0% containment as of July 9th, 2025. An evacuation warning is in place for Zone LKH-1448, located northeast of Shasta Lake and northwest of Montgomery Creek. The fire is burning in steep and rugged terrain, making access difficult for firefighters.
The term "green fire" in this context refers to the name given to this specific wildfire, not necessarily the actual color of the flames. However, it is important to note that the presence of certain elements in a fire can cause the flames to appear green. For instance, copper, boron, and barium can all produce green flames when heated. In the case of wildfires, the burning of wood treated with copper-based fungicides or other materials containing copper can also result in green-tinged flames.

US Treasury targets $500 billion cash cushion by end-July as 2025 tariff revenue nears $100 billion
WASHINGTON, July 8 (Reuters) - Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on Tuesday said the U.S. has taken in about $100 billion in tariff income so far this year, and this could grow to $300 billion by the end of 2025 as collections accelerate from President Donald Trump's trade campaign.
Bessent, speaking to a White House cabinet meeting, said the major collections from Trump's new tariffs only started during the second quarter, when Trump implemented a near universal 10% duty on U.S. imports and boosted duties on steel, aluminum and autos.

Several individuals and sources have discussed the potential revenue generated by the proposed Trump Gold Card, a $5 million visa program offering a path to US residency for wealthy foreign investors.
President Trump's projections:
President Trump has suggested that selling one million Gold Cards could raise $5 trillion, and potentially $50 trillion if 10 million cards were sold, an amount he claims could eliminate the national debt.
He also mentioned a potential market of 37 million for these cards.
Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick's statements:
Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick has predicted that selling 200,000 cards would generate $1 trillion for the Treasury.
He previously stated the potential market for the cards was 37 million people.
Expert opinions and analysis:
Experts, including immigration attorneys and analysts, largely consider Trump's projections to be unrealistic.
They point to the fact that the existing EB-5 visa program, which involves a lower investment, attracted a much smaller number of applicants annually, according to CBS News.
One expert suggested that to generate $10 billion annually (less than 1% of the budget deficit), 2,000 buyers per year would be needed.
Current sales figures:
As of March 26, 2025, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick announced that 1,000 Gold Cards had been sold, generating $5 billion in revenue.
He also stated that nearly 70,000 people have signed up for the Trump Card waitlist.
It is important to note that the Trump Gold Card program faces various challenges, including legal and constitutional questions regarding the President's authority to create a new visa category without Congressional approval. Additionally, there are concerns about the program's fairness and potential impact on U.S. immigration policy.

Don't worry, nowwhat, I wasn't asserting that you were providing a junk video, I just find it interesting how easy it is to poke holes in these so-called analysts of "bloomberg intelligence" lol.
Oh, and this fellow did mention he was associated with bloomberg, and heard him mention his college Gina Martin, who is often on Bloomberg cable, as when I'm home it is often streaming on my computer or teli as I scan headlines that come up. Gina has been a bit more bearish on the US economy/markets in the past 3 months I guess based on her views of Trump's tariff policies. Will be very interesting how Q2 numbers look in the next few weeks as earnings reports come out, and esp. Q3 projections as tariff letters/deals or otherwise are being revealed.

This guy in your video is putting out incorrect (blatantly false) numbers on % Euro EVs sales as he explains why he believes oil will trade down to $45 or less per barrel.
The interview asked him why he thinks oil will drop lower, and he says well if you look to Europe, EV sales are now higher than 50% of sales. LOL! See below. Nice try on his thesis which hasn't happened yet! Oh well, he still has a job. hee hee..... PS: hybrid #'s don't count buddy, as the vehicle is primarily combustion engine with a little baby side-kick battery for local short trips.
Interesting he's saying the pressure causing oil to drop is due to increased US and Canadian production. Hmmm, yeah some, but he says nothing about what OPEC is doing right now jacking output of oil.

In Europe,battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) accounted for 15.2% of new car registrations up to February 2025, according to the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association. This represents a notable increase from 11.5% in the same period in 2024. Hybrid-electric vehicles remain the most popular choice, capturing 35.2% of the market. The combined market share of petrol and diesel cars has decreased to 38.8%.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
BEVs (Battery Electric Vehicles): 15.2%
Hybrid-electric vehicles: 35.2%
Petrol and diesel cars: 38.8%
I guess he added combustion car sales w/ hybrid 35.2 + 15.2 = 50.4% What a duffus.
On the bitcoin/gold ratio (and why bitcoin may be front running a future US equities drop) he said Bitcoin was only 1 such digital coin in 2009, and now it is one of among 18 to 19 million crytocurrencies.🤔 Appears that he likes to had 3 Zeros at the end of the real number! Funny! Fuzzy math. AI is so deft at cutting through the sh*t people spout off in their videos.
