issued pursuant to the initial public offering of Canadian High Income Equity
Fund which expired on April 15, 2011 have been fully exercised and as a result,
an additional 10,296,077 units of the Fund have been issued for gross proceeds
of $123.6 million. 


The net proceeds of the warrant exercises will provide the fund with additional
capital that may be used to take advantage of attractive investment
opportunities. The completion of the warrant offering is also expected to
increase the trading liquidity of the units and reduce the ongoing management
expense ratio of the fund.
