NEW YORK, April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- New York-based investment manager Van Eck Global today announced that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has declared effective the prospectus for Market Vectors-Global Alternative Energy ETF and Market Vectors-Russia ETF as of April 9, 2007. The new Market Vectors ETFs are expected to be launched on the New York Stock Exchange later in the second quarter of 2007. Options are expected to be available on both ETFs.
