Christopher Saunders, a director of Savoy Asset Management plc ("Savoy"), on
26th January 2004 transferred 10,000 ordinary 10p shares in Savoy at a price of
151.75p from his own name to his pension scheme - the James Hay SIPP account -
C. J. Saunders.  Christopher Saunder's beneficial interest in Savoy remains
unchanged at 709,061 ordinary shares representing 7.91% of the issued share
capital.
