Adnams appoints Jenny Hanlon as Chief Financial Officer

   --    Jenny Hanlon appointed as Chief Financial Officer 
   --    Existing CFO Stephen Pugh retiring after 16 years with Adnams 

Jenny Hanlon joins Adnams plc as its new Chief Financial Officer after the planned retirement of Stephen Pugh who joined Adnams in 2003.

Proven Chief Financial Officer Jenny has extensive experience across multiple sectors and having spent time with Barclays, Greene King, Willis plc, iprism and GRP Group. Jenny is also a non-executive Trustee at BEST, a multi-academy trust in the East of England.

Jenny commented: "I am extremely excited to join Adnams as I will get the opportunity to work alongside all those who have built this business to what it is today. Adnams is an iconic business that cares deeply about always doing the right thing and I look forward to what we can achieve in the years to come."

Employing more than 550 people, Adnams was founded in 1872 and brews and distils more than 30 different beers and 20 spirits from grain-to-glass at its forever home in Southwold, Suffolk. Adnams also is a top 50 independent wine merchant with over 300 wines from 17 countries and has more than 55 properties including pubs, inns, hotels and shops throughout East Anglia and exports to more than 24 countries.
