HSA Bank Introduces New Regional Managers SHEBOYGAN, Wis., Feb. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- HSA Bank(TM) recently added three new regional managers to their staff. They are responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with insurance carriers, agencies and TPAs to educate and train agents, groups and individuals about how health savings accounts (HSAs) work and the benefits they can provide. "HSAs are still relatively new and educating people about the potential premium savings and tax benefits is a fundamental component of our regional managers' responsibilities. The better people understand HSAs, the more likely they are to take advantage of this opportunity," said Kirk Hoewisch, president of HSA Bank. The regional managers include: Chris Ebersole, based in Pennsylvania, covering the East region of the country, Glenn Stokes, based in Illinois, covering the Midwest/Central region of the country, and Don Neal, based in Arizona, covering the West region of the country. The Regional Managers are under the direction of Kathy McCormick, senior vice president, Business Development. Kathy is responsible for sales and the implementation of HSA training and education initiatives throughout the nation. "Chris, Glenn and Don are incredible individuals with dynamic personalities," said McCormick, who joined HSA Bank in 2004 after nearly 23 years at the management level of a national Third Party Administrator (TPA). "Their executive experience and success in TPAs and the insurance industry made them a great fit for HSA Bank. The knowledge and experience of our regional managers strengthens our relationships' confidence that HSA Bank is focused on their needs and will remain a strong industry leader." Combined, the regional managers have over 83 years of experience. Chris has spent more than 23 years marketing employee benefits programs. Glenn has spent nearly 30 years in the insurance industry, the last 15 of which he successfully built his own insurance agency. Don has spent more than 30 years developing and managing TPA firms. "Experience within the insurance and TPA industry is essential to the regional manager positions," Hoewisch said. "We set out to find regional managers who know the industry, have proven to be successful and fit with HSA Bank's culture and way of doing business. We feel each of these regional managers is a home run in that way." On March 1, 2005, HSA Bank will be acquired by Webster Bank, N.A., one of the 45 largest banks in the United States and the largest independent bank headquartered in southern New England.
