Hungarian Forint Bounces Back Against U.S. Dollar

The Hungarian forint that dropped to 199.50 against the U.S.
dollar in early European session on Monday has reversed its
direction soon thereafter. The pair is presently worth 198.23,
compared to Friday's close of 197.21. In economic news, Hungarian
central bank left its key policy rate unchanged at 6% as expected
today.
In January, the central bank raised the key rate by 25 basis
points to its current level. The central bank resumed the rate hike
in November after holding it steady for six meetings.
