Burkina Faso Exploration Drilling Results
AIM Resources Limited ("AIM Resources") wishes to advise that it has received
analytical results for the exploration drilling program carried out at Perkoa
and surrounding exploration permits (Poa and Guido) in August 2007.
The drilling program was designed to test 6 airborne Electromagnetic (EM)
anomalies which were comparable to the EM signature expressed over the Perkoa
deposit. Due to heavy seasonal rainfall at the time of drilling, high water
levels impeded access to 2 of these anomalies and drilling was postponed pending
the outcome of subsequent geophysical surveys over the region.
A total of 9 holes were drilled, totalling 2,402 meters, which targeted
geophysical and geochemical anomalies. Four holes (A2-S1, I16-S1, I16-S2 and
S10-S4) intersected visible sulphides (pyrite and pyrrhotite).
From the 4 EM anomalies drill tested, a total of 402 samples were collected and
dispatched to ALS Laboratories in November 2007 for analysis. Notwithstanding
visible sulphides, assay results for zinc, copper, lead, nickel and gold did not
show significant grades.
In the intervening period, a VTEM airborne survey was completed over the Perkoa
deposit and surrounding exploration permits. The data collected is currently
being analysed and interpreted. AIM Resources is eager to present results from
this survey, as VTEM is renowned for its capability of deep penetration and
ability to detect EM anomalies at depths up to 800 meters. The data will be
reviewed in light of results from the drilling program to determine if further
follow up work is warranted.
