Associated British Engineering plc ("Company")

The Company has today been advised that Colin Weinberg has purchased 4,000 ABE plc Ordinary Shares at GBP1.25 each and additionally that David Brown has also purchased 4,000 ABE plc Ordinary shares at GBP1.25 each. The following chart sets out the respective holdings.
