Director's Shareholding

The Board of Accsys announces that it was notified yesterday that Lord Sanderson, a Non-Executive Director of Accsys, purchased 35,000 ordinary shares of EUR0.01 each in Accsys (each a "Share") on 12 July 2012 at a purchase price of EUR0.17 per Share.

This purchase brings Lord Sanderson's total holding in Accsys to 50,761 Shares.

In addition, the Board of Accsys announces that it was notified yesterday that Lord Sanderson's spouse, Lady Sanderson purchased 35,000 Shares in Accsys on 12 July 2012 at a purchase price of EUR0.17 per Share.

Wood Acetylation is a process which increases the amount of 'acetyl' molecules in wood, thereby changing its physical properties. The process protects wood from rot by making it "inedible" to most micro-organisms and fungi, without - unlike conventional treatments - making it toxic. It also greatly reduces the wood's tendency to swell and shrink, making it less prone to cracking and ensuring that, when painted, it requires dramatically reduced maintenance.

Tricoya(R) Wood Elements (www.tricoya.com ) are produced using Accsys' proprietary technology for the acetylation of wood chips and particles and are used in the fabrication of wood based composites, including panel products.
