                     ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING: TRADING UPDATE

Chelford Group plc ("Chelford"), the IT enterprise and supply chain software and
services company, is holding its Annual General Meeting today.

William Birkett, Chairman, will give the following update on trading:

"I am pleased to report that Chelford has continued its excellent progress of
2004 into 2005. Order intake to date is ahead of last year and the new business
pipeline is strong across the business.  Significant new contracts include
Pharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing Services (pharmaceuticals) for the
SSI Division and Supercook (food) for the SAP Division.  The mix of business has
enabled staff utilisation to be improved and higher day rates are holding up
well.  Operationally, the SAP Division management structure has been
strengthened and we have begun to invest in SAP solutions to meet the needs of
new vertical  markets.

"Given the performance of the business in the current financial year and the
strength of the new business pipeline for both the SSI and SAP Divisions, the
Board anticipates an outcome for the full year in line with its expectations and
is confident of the Group's prospects."
