Board Appointments



FishWorks plc, the local fishmongers and restaurant group listed on AIM (Symbol:
FSH.L), is pleased to announce two significant Board appointments.  Gary
Ashworth joins the Group as Chairman and Chris Marsh as Finance Director, with
immediate effect.



Gary Ashworth, 46, is a founder and Chairman of Interquest Group plc, a fast
growing specialist recruitment business listed on AIM.  Prior to this, he
founded Abacus Recruitment plc, which floated on AIM in September 1995.  Gary is
also a founder of Room Restaurants, with outlets in Leeds, Manchester and
Liverpool.



Chris Marsh, 32, qualified as a chartered accountant at Vantis plc (formerly
Morton Thornton) and as a chartered tax accountant at Ernst and Young.  He
started his own commercial practice in 2001.  Chris has worked as a Finance
Director at various leisure firms, including a catering business and currently
works as Finance Director of Healthy Living Centres plc, a chain of 36 gyms, and
as Finance Director of Patisserie Valerie, a chain of 8 restaurants in London.



Commenting on the appointments, Mitchell Tonks, Group Chief Executive of
FishWorks plc, said:
