    CDD and CMSS products obtain CE Mark approval ahead of commercial launch



IDMoS plc (AIM: IDO) ("IDMoS" or the 'Group'), the specialist in disease
detection and monitoring technology, is pleased to announce that its Caries
Detection Device ("CDD") and Caries Management Support System ("CMSS"), for the
detection and monitoring of tooth decay, have received the CE mark
accreditation, in line with the company's expectations.



The Group is now progressing the claims support documentation ahead of
submission of the application to the FDA for the 510K marketing certificate.
The Group aims to commercially launch both products later this year, in the
European Community and the USA.



The CDD and the CMSS have the capability to enable the detection of tooth decay
with greater accuracy and certainty than existing techniques, both for the
reversible early stages of decay and for established decay.  Adoption of these
complementary products is expected to help dentists target preventive and
operative care more appropriately, consistent with current trends in dentistry



The products have the following functionality



  * CDD is a stand-alone device with measurement and integral display
    capabilities
  * CMSS is an integrated system with larger and more detailed display
    capabilities full integrated digital data capture and monitoring
    functionality
