Correction to the results of the votes cast.

                        Results of EGM 17 February 2004                        

The Board of Intrinsic Value plc ("Intrinsic Value" or the "Company") is
pleased to announce that at the Extraordinary General Meeting held earlier
today, all the resolutions proposed by the requisitionist, Laxey Partners,
failed. The results of the votes on each resolution were:

For 5,995,000 shares (40.9% of votes cast)

Against 8,654,682 shares (59.1% of votes cast)

The Board is pleased to note that the attempt by a 19.35% shareholder, Laxey
Partners, to take control ofthe Board of Intrinsic Value has failed. Laxey
Partner's resolutions were only supported by 7 shareholders holding 5,995,000
shares which represent only 23.9% of the Company's issued share capital.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank the large number of
shareholders, institutional and individual, who showed their support for the
Board.

The future of the Company

The Board sees the results of the EGM as a mandate to bring forward its
proposals for the future of the Company as outlined in the circular to
shareholders of 4 February 2004 and the Interim Results released on 12 February
2004.

The Board therefore intends to bring forward its liquidation proposal at the
earliest opportunity, to allow shareholders to vote for a controlled
liquidation of Intrinsic Value; such liquidation to be carried out by the
current investment manager with a view to achieving the best value for
shareholders.

The Board also expects to offer shareholders an opportunity for a `roll over'
into an open ended investment vehicle, and discussions are ongoing in this
regard.

With today's Extraordinary General Meeting over, the Board and its advisers are
now able to turn their full attention to the future.
